Now that you have an idea of who the characters are, pick one that you find interesting. It will be your job while reading Romeo and Juliet to create a character box for that character!
What is a character box?
Well A character box in our case will be a box decorated however you like, that will contain small articles that are pertinent to the character you have chosen and represent the 5 senses.
For example, looking at the picture above of Juliet and Romeo at the masquerade think about what Romeo (if this is the character you have chosen) might keep from this special night, his first meeting with Juliet. Possibly a feather from one of her wings, a song that played at the party, or a flower that smelled as she did. Whatever you choose to keep in your character box, remember that at least one of each of the five senses (touch, taste, smell, sight, & sound) must be accounted for.
